Pompeii

In Ancient Rome, it was considered fine dining to be served a feast within your own home rather than at a local restaurant. Tiberius, a slave who had bought back his freedom and made a name for himself as a great cook, has opened his dormus, or private home, for visitors to come and experience a traditional Roman meal.

Tiberius' Dormus

This drawing was made using Prismacolor markers. The building design is based off of real ruins from the city of Pompeii

Pompeii is well known for the catastrophe that ended it, but now you can see what the famed "City of the Dead" was like in it's glory days. Experience a day in the Roman Empire by watching events in an amphitheater, race along in a Roman Chariot, fly with Hermes as he searches for all the gods, and eat in a traditional Roman domus.
